Ayaka Hope: Founded 2023

Lived Experience. Community-Led Education.

Ayaka Hope transforms personal experience of South Sudan's educational hardships into direct, grassroots support for youth. We empower communities to build and sustain their own educational futures.

Our Founder, Our Mission

Where the Work Began

Asunta Sikazwe's journey began in the very classrooms Ayaka Hope now seeks to transform. Her firsthand understanding of limited resources and passionate teachers inspired a vision: to empower communities to build and sustain their own educational futures.

This personal connection keeps our work rooted in the experiences and needs of South Sudanese families. We partner directly with community leaders, bringing infrastructure and support where it's needed most.

Despair will not patch a classroom roof or print a textbook, but community determination will.

Our Operational Pillars

Ayaka Hope's work is built on foundational values that ensure sustainable impact and authentic partnership, transforming lived experience into tangible change.

Lived Experience Leadership

Empowering Teachers
